Cookie Policy

Every cookie and storage entry this site uses, what each one does, and how to switch them off.

Last updated: 8 September 2026

1. Why a cookie policy at all

chickenroadgameonline.net stores very little in your browser, but "very little" is not "nothing", and you are entitled to the details. This page lists every category, what it does and how long it lasts.

2. Check it against your browser

Open the storage inspector while reading this page. What you see should match the list above exactly; if it does not, that is a bug we want reported.

3. Strictly necessary

A single preference entry records your answer to the cookie notice so we do not ask again on every page. Without it the notice would reappear constantly. It carries no identifier and is readable only by this domain.

4. Optional analytics

If you accept them, an aggregate measurement script loads and records page views and referrers. It tells us which sections are read, nothing more. Decline and the script is never requested.

This site covers browser play above everything else, because most readers meet the game in a tab rather than an app. The rules on this page apply the same way whether you opened the lobby on a laptop or a phone.

5. Third-party cookies

None are set by this site. An operator you visit will set its own once you arrive there, under its domain and its policy; blocking third-party cookies in your browser prevents that without affecting anything here.

6. How to control them

Every major browser can block or clear cookies for a single site, and private windows discard them on close. Clearing this site's data removes everything we set, immediately and permanently — nothing is mirrored on our servers.

7. No cookie wall

Refusing optional cookies locks nothing. A guide that hides behind a consent decision is not really asking for consent.

Questions about anything above go to the contact page, where a person answers them.
